There are many many pieces of software which integrate into ON but have 
their own communities/projects where design discussion, code review 
happens. (networking, ksh, dtrace, zfs, smf, zones, etc. etc. etc.) 
Please consider including those technology-specific or 
functionality-specific communities and projects in your calculation of 
openness of ON.
