No, in fact you were not polite. The subject says it all.

I read them. I also read the documentation on opensolaris.org which
suggests that there are numerous lists, all of which you can view by
visiting http://mail.opensolaris.org. If a list look interesting, by
all means subscribe. As mentioned earlier, there are gobs of
specialized lists - most (if not all) of which are quite active.

As soon as I start footing the bill for Sun's engineers, I can make
demands that everything be done in the open. Up until that point, I am
quite happy with the activity on the lists. Are there still thing
sbeing discussed internally? Probably. I don't see why that is a
problem.
