KG01 - perhaps we could revisit the update notification experience to ensure that users are aware of an available update, but are free to download and install according to there preferred way. This might mitigate the risk of automatic updaters lack of visibility of a new release. AOO.next features, such as a start screen, or community side bar panel presents opportunities to surface such info. Oh, final thought.
