HELP !!!

Ariel created very nice mdtext files to help me, which I wanted to use but
when I follow Rob´s introduction (youtube) on how to use CMS I am presented
with HTML....what am I doing wrong ????

Is it correct to assume that if I want to use mdtext I can forget CMS and
do it in SVN directly ???

Sorry for asking, but this does not seem to be obvious for non-documentary
programmers :-)
