Are we looking for something to cover the whole board and have blocks
for the xilinx and the lattice? Or individual BGA style heatsinks for
the chips?
Either way I think it would be best if the heatsinks were push pin
mounted, with holes in the standard positions allowing for the user to
upgrade as necessary. If the holes are in the usual positions then
endusers can use any available VGA cooler. I think aavid's range may be
suitable if you want to put a heatsink covering the 3S4000 and the
XP10. They are available with or without fans.

I think getting ready-made rectangular heatsink in the dimensions we
need is going to be more difficult. Perhaps we can get in contact with a
company that supplies other graphics card makers with their reference
designs/stock coolers. eg Thermaltake:
