I couldn't get it to link building the source from the official
website ... it looks like it needs libtool [ick] to be applied
to the problem. Since I don't *want* the program, I am calling
it a night.
Ethereal's unzipped tar file is 68 MB in size [astounding], so
anyone wanting to fool with it, free up a couple hundred megs of
disc to play in. It'll want gtk2 and a couple of other toys around,
too, so forewarned is forearmed.
