www.qmailrocks.org is what used to install qmail. here my mess directory:

210 is highest number; does it this mean the conf-split 211?

The problem is that your conf-split is not the default 23 - see the
directory number 181 - if ur conf-split was 23 - only directories 0-22
will exist, what installer or doc did you follow to install qmail ? if
you compiled it by hand - it will available in the extracted qmail
source directory in the file conf-split
