This is strange....What is happening, or rather not happening, is that the
Btn1Up translation is being, sort of, ignored. This means that the Activate
never fires, and nothing is really selected, just Armed. In the short term
there is a workaround so that it is still usable, although not ideal. If you do
the Btn1Down in the item you want to select, then move the cursor around,
ending up back at the same item, then release the button.

Don't hold your breathe for this one. The exact mechanism used for
mnemonics/accelerators is not real well understood...
