Hi, Finally got cd playing to work. I had to pkg-get -i xmms from www.blastwave.org then configure xmms not to use the liboss library for output but the libsolaris accessible via preferences. I also had to remove /cdrom/cdrom0 from the directory setting as this link did not exist.
When inserting an audio cd into a drive, should the /cdrom/cdrom0 link exist and should the directory contain the list of tracks on the cd? Could this be configured to happen so the tracks appear as either <track>.cda or the appropiate track name via the cddabase.
