How would you be more helped by an external repository that doesn't have Alpine in it than an internal repository that doesn't have Alpine in it? Either way, I think you're missing the point. The guy who was working on this didn't get done with it. There's simple NO WAY to determine why this happened, unless you talk with *him*. You *cannot* assume that it was due to targeting an internal repository rather than an external one. Nor (obviously!) does it seem to have anything to do with ARC review, as the case cited is *CLOSED* -- done, finito. Thus, the argument for having an external repository, at least in this case, is spurious.
