I have a MSI IM-945GC which is a Dual Core Intel Atom N330 CPU 64bit
1.6GHz. Running OpenSolaris 2009.06

Its hooked up to 4 x Western Digital Green drives in a RAIDZ2
configuration. You can find the full hardware details here -
http://www.adamretter.org.uk/blog/entries/diy-nas-software_and_hardware.xml

I just tried copying a file using CIFS from the OpenSolaris box to my
Ubuntu desktop and it achieved about 30MB/s on a 650MB file.

Cheers Adam.
