The memory usage of that gconfd-2 process is very high. On my opensolaris b131 system gconfd-2 consumes 13M memory, with a RSS of 7MB. For some reason the gconfd-2 process on your box uses an additional 180M of memory. Could be a bug. Does the size of the gconfd-2 process increase over time (a memory leak?) ?
