Hmm. I have tried to reproduce this behaviour on HP-UX 10.20.

/opt/imake/bin/makedepend
serv01 23: what /opt/imake/bin/makedepend
/opt/imake/bin/makedepend:

The CFLAGS seem to be passed properly...
