That is correct (I'm running the flashplayer on a 64bit opensuse install myself). I wasn't intending it to sound as if you can't run the flash player, just that it can be trickier than running the sdk because not all distros make it easy to use (either by bundling a 32bit browser instead of a 64bit browser, or by including a 64bit browser and nspluginwrapper).
