Law? I refer you back to my post on Colonel Blimp. Look, the UN has been talking for years about international law and telling the two sides to stop fighting. Guess what, a significant portion of both sides do not want to stop fighting. They do not want to integrate. They do not want to make peace. Factions on both sides want escalation and obliteration. No international law is going to stop them hating each other. Well gee they broke the law. Well they friggen hate each other--it is a far deeper problem than anything that will be solved at the level of international law. Your international laws are irrelevant.
