Probably we will have hurried releases of studies that "prove" ultrasound is
benign, as we did when injectable vit K was suggested to increase the
incidence of childhood leukaemia and the swift removal from the pages of the
newspaper of the story about Caesareans increasing Maternal mortality. (The
West Australian Newspaper removed it from the paper after the first edition
with no explanation at all.)
