I can't remember exactly what the initials stand for,but it's essentially severe itching in pregnancy - the U is for Urticaria it think. The thing that bugs me here is that they give benadryl for it postpartum which I don't like becaus it's an antihistamine and can affect early lactation. Also, anyone with severe itching in pregnancy should be also assess for Intrahepatic Cholestasis of pregnancy because of the possible poor fetal outcomes
