Thanks for your reply, Cheryl :) I must clarify that the 'control' I was talking about was the woman being in control of her pain.  She just felt that when the others were in the room that the contractions were getting out of control.  I know that we are unable to control many situations surrounding childbirth! :)   Thanks, Jo Babies are Born...
