I've gotten email from people who claim to have not installed any
applications on their new Palm V, and still had the failure to wake up
for alarms problem.  I tell them to soft reset.  The newsgroup also 
has several posts reporting this problem, should be possible to find
those posts on dejanews or altavista.

ob dev question: is it possible for my application to set an alarm
that the Datebook will respond to?
