I know this may shock you, but we're actually trying to do this.

I've thought about this problem, and I've been happy to talk about it.
This is despite the fact that I have a lot of work right now, and none of
it has anything to do with this problem. Your messages have been sarcastic
and even insulting. And so it is with a certain regret, that I must admit
that I, personally, no longer have any interest whatsoever in helping you,
personally. Obviously, I speak only for myself and not for 3Com.

Finally, this is what I'm going to do: I'm going to ignore the problem(!)
until I feel like working on it some more, or until my boss tells me to
work on it. I'm sure that if its our problem, it will be fixed one way or
another. But don't expect that I'll let you know when it happens.

If you treat everyone like this, I'm not surprised that you didn't get a
satisfactory response earlier. My involvement seems to have lasted, oh,
about a day. Bye.
