Well, a rather vocal (i.e. banned) supporter of the platform seemed awfully
hell bent on running everyone who didn't want to do things his way out of
business.... even if he had to sue.

Larger screen, perhaps. I remember seeing something on this forum that said
the OS is not limited to screen size, so hopefully something will happen on
this front. Better sound? I played with the Journada at Office Depot.. the
MP3 playback stuttered and the speaker was tinny. And honestly, why do I
want this in a PDA? If I want to carry tunes, I'll carry a CD player (a LOT
more storage) or one of the MP3 players that was actually created for that
purpose. I agree with the previous poster, the Pocket PC platform is another
nice try, but shows just how clueless Microsoft is to what the PDA market is
all about: Simplicity. People don't want a palm sized laptop, its
impractical. They want something that is small, easy to use, and fast.

Is it truly free or are they giving away the "extension" libraries that
allow you to use your Visual C++ compiler to cross compile for the hand held
platform?
