Hi Brett. Sonar is a top piece of software that delivers both in the audio and midi field. It's highly accessible using either Caketalking or JSonar, although it can be quite a learning curve to get the most out of it. So, in answer to your question, no it isn't just midi and the audio part is extremely detailed and highly accessible. HTH, cheers Steve. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Brett Boyer" <bboyer...@gmail.com>

Isn't sonar mostly used for midi music? Or is the audio part just as detailed and accessible? I was told that unless you use a lot of midi it's really not worth the price. Maybe I was given bad advice?
What do yall think?

Sornar 8 is extremely suitable for your needs. I must admit I haven't used
all of it's features yet. But have used some affects, recored many many
programs and local artists using the multi-tracks from sornar 4 up to sornar
8. I can't afford to get sornar five right now.
I also like the import and exporting, features.

I use sornar 8 for doing the multi-track. However, I have a friend
who is working on learning adobe audition multi-track using
window-eyes 71. I will let you know.

Most of it is blind friendly . However, the multi-trick feature I
find challenging. I am going to try some scrips I just got for adobe
audition.
