Be sure that you're in the E Q window.
Use ctrl tab till jaws says something with EQ.

Subject: missing Winamp keyboard eq controls
The eq band controls are not working in my Winamp. I am able to turn
it on and off and select presets but I can't mofify them with the number
and qwerty keys.
Jaws 14, Win 7 64, and the latest Winamp. I believe I installed the
full version but am noti positive.
I've checkd the forums and don't see anything about it.
