I purchased a used 8500 off eBay that has MacOS 8.6 "evaluation" copy
installed. I had bought a hoyle copy of OS 10.1 a while ago and
thought I would install the OS 9.2.1 that came with it. I OWN that.
Come to find out it won't work because it is designed only for G3 and
above macs. Now I have this great computer with an old, used copy of
8.6 and no way out! Do I have to buy another copy of OS 9.1 just to be
able to use the computer????

Help?

Tom
