OSX is not "supported" on my antique Daystar Genesis either, but I have Jaguar 10.2.4 running just fine on it. Using XPostFacto I can install OSX on the Daystar and it will run on the ORIGINAL 604e processors. OR... Using the Sonnet PCI X Install utility I can install OSX on it and it will run off the Sonnet processor upgrade. My Daystar had had the 604e pulled out and a 800 Mhz Sonnet G4 put in in order to run Jaguar. Not supported ?? Who cares ??? I also have OS 8.6, OS 9.1 and OS 9.2 on it. Like I said above in the part you objected to...I had to have OS9.1 running on it in order to run the Sonnet utility that would prepare a hard drive for the OSX install. If you think you can't run these operating systems on a specific PCI Mac, then you are probably right. YOU can't. But the rest of us can.
