There is no such animal as an "evaluation" copy of OS 8.6. If it's on the 
drive it should work indefinitely........where are you getting that idea?
Hoyle does not make Os 10.1......? 
When you say and old, used copy of 8.6, it doesn't make sense. I have no 
clue what you are talking about!

I would simply buy a 9.1 CD or 8.5.1 CD and update to 8.6 which is free.
