I have the same issue with a SIIG 133 ATA in a G3 desktop. I went to a G4 450 and the card worked untill I went to install OSX on the 80gig Maxtor and all went bad. After going back to the stock 266 G3 and the older 10gig IBM on the internal buss I got it running again.
I now have the G4 running again but the ATA 133 or OSX will not at all. I have had this same ATA 133 and a 30 gig Maxtor run on this G3 DT before for long periods?
