Don't know definitively, but it *looks* like  they would  fit.

My two Fujitsu 4.3 gig sca scsi's both boot the machine, one in X, one in
9.1

I have not  partitioned  the  27 and 40 gig drives and  they both boot the
machine in  9.1, but  I cannot  say definitively re 8.6 as it's been a while
since I used it.
