Well, if you have no zip, sure. I would like to see a CD-RW actually survive fine after 1000 rewrites over an appropriate period for such a log of work (I am reminded of the claims about Ni-Cad batteries being able to be recharged thousands of time... not in my experience!). RW CDs may work transfer between machines but the pitfalls are many. Even so, for amounts less than 95MB it is such a simple procedure to use a zip. They are tough little things and pop in and spring out, not so fiddly as these delicate CDs that need to be handled o so carefully and software set up just so each time... I understand that many folk use little USB devices too for this sort of thing. Me, well, I like the feel of these solid zip disks, the tough brother of a floppy, the way they fit in small neat tough clear cases, I better stop as I am feeling a need to discuss this with my shrink urgently...
