is close to that stuff.  I saw os 9 tricks, too.  I was surprised at how easy 
it was to turn my CDR into a supported device, and it was nice to see the burn 
icon when I dragged the CD to the dock!.  I've only made a couple CD's, but 
somehow I got the feeling that it was/is that simple.  I believe there may be 
FireWire hacks there too.
