>Today, I stumbled across a ebay seller auctioning off a "fan cooling kit"
that appears nearly identical to one the described in my pdf. Guess I
should have
obtained a patent for it ;)? The ebay seller claims a 7 F (4 C) drop in the
lower bay due to his cooling kit. Keep in mind this is ebay.

Changing the stock 45 CFM fan in the PSU to a 65 CFM unit drops the processor temperature by about 4 F, this measured at the CPU.

The overall effect within the case is undoubtedly significantly greater
as the volume of air being moved through the case is 144 percent higher
than with the stock fan.

The fan described in the previously mentioned PDF moves the air around
WITHIN the case.

The upgraded fan in the PSU effects overall cooling by pulling more air
THROUGH the case.
