Sorry...I don't know anything about Norton (I'm a McAfee user)....but,
MOST AV programs put a little icon in your taskbar, near your clock, and
if you RIGHT click on it, you should get a menu.....there should be
something in there that says "Exit" or "Disable" or "Quit" or something
like that

Otherwise, you can hit ctrl+alt+del one time and you will see the task
manager....if you can recognize Norton in that list of running programs,
you can click on it once to select it, then click on the button that
says "End Task" and that will shut it down

Hi Linda.. Thanks so much.. Also, do you know anything about the Norton
System Works 2002.. That's what I was writing about in my original
letter.. I'm trying to install the GoBack on it. but when I do.. it
keeps saying I have something running, and I know I have the Norton
Vi*** scan running, but can't seem to figure out how to disable it.
