Subject: RE: PCWorks: User32.DLL - RTHDCPL.EXE - HHCTRL.OCX
Thank you, Ben. I'll leave the patch installed for now, as you suggested.
However, every time I restart the computer I get that message. Is my
computer safe? Should I just click OK and go about my business?
I'm concerned that the Realtek file pushed away user32.dll. I'm afraid that
user32.dll will not work properly - and that's an important file.
Hi David
Microsoft have a hotfix for this problem at:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/935448/
I had the same problem but I downloaded & installed the 935448 package,
rebooted and the error message has gone away.
Hopefully this will work for you too (and Ben).
