Your machine needs an electric blanket to keep warm. Sorry, I couldn't help
myself.

You say, sometimes. Does this mean you have the Quark PDF import/export
filter installed? What OS are you working on? Can you isolate the source of
the PDFs? i.e., When you try to solve a problem you need to try and find
patterns. Have you checked the integrity of the PDF? Is your OS up-to-date?

If you create a new Quark doc, what happens when you try importing the same
PDF? In the past, I've had Quark docs corrupt, or elements like picture
containers corrupt, which then barfs the machine.

These are just some ideas from off the top of my shiny head.

Hi, I work in Quarkxpress 4.11 and sometimes when I try placing pdf ads onto
pages the machine freezes up, what do you think could be the problem.
