I've found the Carl Zeiss lenses to have a more consistent flavour in
both b&w and colour film than the Pentax lenses I had. Admittedly the
Pentax lenses were not all from the same series - they were K, M, A
and A* lenses - so that could make a difference to my experience.

This subjective comparison (and that's all it is) is based on results on
Scala b&w slides and on Kodachrome colour slides. Normally when I shoot b&w
I use either a green of a yellow/green filter, but these are Contax filters
(though made by Hoya, I think).
