Hi Bruce,

Looking at the image from a technical perspective I have no problem with the 
shift, in fact I can't see any obvious pointers to its use at all. What I did 
see (approximately in the following order) was the fountain (brightness makes 
it stand out) and the water off the fountain (at a glance it looks like it's 
cascading in the brides hair). A little dodge and burn could even the balance 
out a bit and. Then I noticed the softening (in particular the glow around the 
white of the dress), I'm not sure if it's a good or bad effect but it does seem 
to be prevalent in this type of image at the moment.

It's obviously not just a snap, in context it's a nice wedding pic and I'm sure 
if I was a participant in the wedding I'd be pleased with the image.
