According to Boz' page they are optically identical
though that is news to me. 
Until know I assumed the Takumar-F is optically
identical with the SMC-FA 28-80/3.5-4.7 zoom (8/8
elements/groups) and not with the SMC-F 28-80/3.5-4.5
(12/9 elements/groups)
