YOU just said you would wait for next thread
and now you continue. the thread already
discussed and argued this point and it not
correct because there is no need to drop full
support of K/M because its NOT incompatable
with A/FA/ETC. Please don’t continue doing
this without reading the whole thread...

I read Pål's numbers after that reply.
The manufacturing numbers do not take into account equipment that is no 
longer in service for a variety of reasons, such as equipment 
loss/destruction, things that happen OVER TIME.
Anyway, the manufacturing numbers are, at best, a straw man, and at worst 
just not valid at all in this curcumstance.
The most important factor is lens usability for THE MAJORITY of users. For
most users, this means programmed exposure automation and autofocus, 
neither of which are supported, or supportable, by K/M lenses.
