Yep. The main market for cameras like the EOS-1v is the poseurs. People like "Annika",
which by the way is a he, is quite typical of the core market. Also, the cameras huge
size are chosen deliberately because it appeals more to the poseurs; mine is bigger
than yours crowd. The EOS 1v is designed to look like a muscular man according to the
design team. This tells you all you need to know about its target market.
If were lucky, the poseurs will spoil the Canon name to such an extent thats its
becoming fashionable to use a Pentax. :-)
