I learned to fly on Piper Cubs (1969) and did my solo in a Super Cub. Then on to a Cherokee 180 (Univerity Flying Club) and finally Cessnas from 140 up to 220. I got an instrument rating in 1965 and ended up with about 440 hours. I don't know where my logbooks are. The last plane I flew was a Cessna with floats in 1983 -- here in Finland -- about three hours. I haven't been in a small plane since. I didn't go on to get a Finnish licence -- far too expensive.
