You have a lot of favorite cameras, Mike ;-))

What you've described sounds like a kludge, although I'm sure it has its place
and
value.  It seems fine if you're going to let the camera wind on in a short time,
but
holding one's finder on the shutter release for a longer time, say 20 minutes or

so, may become somewhat tiresome.
