Both good, Brian. No COS there.

#1 is the stronger in my book. Composition, contrast, sharpening.

#2 not as good. The subject matter, the tracks, gets weak as it goes upwards to the top of the photo. Compositionally good though.

Wales).  I've given up on colour renderings (dirty colours, noisy), so
mono conversion is the last straw.
