The internet is full of anti Pentax readings, not hard to find,, just
ask Ricehigh.

I shoot both Nikon and Pentax Dslr's and i can honestly say i have to
post process less on my K10D shots than my D200 or D2H shots. Colour
is a lot nicer out of the box so to speak.
You won't get much for your istD anyway. Buy a Hoya R72 filter and
have some IR fun.
