Very good point. Motherboards are considered hazardous waste in the US and
are supposed to be disposed of in special ways, not put in dumps.
Because of the gold and silver in motherboards, which are more toxic than
any gunk build up in a computer.
Gold and silver are not particularlly toxic, in fact they are as inert
as metals come. Motherboards may be considered toxic waste but it's for
other reasons, I'd bet lead and mercury in the solder, and other places...
