The "American Diner" seems a vanishing breed;  that you have so many
in your area seems amazing.  Your project to capture them while
they're still available is a brilliant idea.

While they may be dying in the north, new ones are being built and opened in the South. There are a couple of franchise outfits opening them - 5 & Diner and Shiny Diner I think.

Shiny Diner is from the same folks who originally took the Hardee's chain nationwide.
