I way overbought on film several years ago for a wedding. I also bought
cases of Velvia and Provia, that sat unused in a refrigerator because I was
working out of town.

It then sat in my garage all summer, and now is in the cold garage this
winter. My wife has been using the Portra and Fuji NPH print film. I've
been using the transparency film.

To tell you the truth, I can't detect any differences in this old film vs.
new film. I haven't tried to, but nothing obvious jumps out at me.

Basically this film is probably a year past it's date. The saving factor is
probably that it's been at cold or relatively mild temperatures (the garage
is colder than the rest of the house even in summer).
