I downloaded Lightroom 3 for a 300 day trial a couple days ago. After reading one of Godfrey DiGirorgi's articles on file organization and naming, I set up my files, which are not extensive at this point, and imported a couple of folders.
I see what people were saying about Lightroom, at least about Lightroom 3. I will be proceeding with caution, so's I don't commit any irretrievable errors, but it is so intuitive -- much more so than iPhoto, Elements, or Bridge.
