The only logical reason is that I happen to like Pentax, and I'd rather give *them* my money than somebody else. Furthermore, the MILC that ticks most of my boxes right now is the Samsung NX10 (as I've said way too many times), but there are still many unchecked boxes. For example, I'd like a Sony sensor and the IQ Pentax squeezes out of it, and I'd like Pentax firmware and TAv mode. Lastly, maybe Pentax would provide an adapter allowing auto diaphragm stop down of Pentax lenses, thus allowing me to use some of my current lenses, which would be a bonus. I feel like Samsung is the only MILC manufacturer who's understanding the market segment that wants a real camera (not a souped up P&S) with an assortment of small primes. If they work on their firmware, it's very likely they'll get my business. > But fortunately I have an agreement with the potential buyer of most of my > other gear. > > Boris So you're planning on partially defecting, Boris? --M. -- \/\/o/\/\ --> http://WorldOfMiserere.com http://EnticingTheLight.com A Quest for Photographic Enlightenment -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
