I've never used any Adobe photographic software. Photoshop seemed to have lots more than I thought I'd need, and I couldn't justify the cost then. I still can't justify that cost. I did try The Lightroom evaluation at one point but didn't like the interface and it was too much for my little desktop at that time.
I found picture window pro some time ago and have been using that. Well-featured, interface makes sense (to me), and price is quite acceptable. It's done everything I have needed so far. My 0.02...
