Someone is still going to have to explain to me how Pentax and Tokina
co-design the highly respected 11-16mm f2.8 and then Tokina is
precluded from offering them in Pentax mount (presumably so Pentax
could release on under their own name with their own coatings) and
then they never do it. Some bean counter probably calculated better
profit margins on the 12-24mm f4.

My son-in-law just got this lens for his 50D and says it is superior
to the well-respected Canon 10-22mm. But Pentax owners can't have one.
